Good luck to Malala Yousafzai

I was fortunate enough last week, not only to photograph, but to be able to listen to the words of an amazing young woman who seems to have more wisdom in her at 16 years of age than I could hope to achieve in a lifetime. About a year ago, a taliban boarded Malala Yousafzai’s school bus and shot her in the head for having the audacity to seek an education. Miraculously, she recovered, and has become a leading advocate for education rights of women in Pakistan and the world. Malala is a leading candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize being announced tomorrow. Good luck to her not only in that, but more importantly in her continued fight for women’s education rights across the globe. Such an inspiring young woman.
